Field Trip Day

Today I don’t have a witty post. I don’t have a deep and insightful post.

Today I simply post that it is FIELD TRIP DAY in our homeschool life.  Off to a science museum we go with some of our homeschool friends.

Who knows what wonders we will discover.

Who knows what inspiration I will find for tomorrow’s post.

I’m attempting to take part in the “The Fifth Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge” through the month of March. The challenge is run by Two Writing Teachers.

*grins* Not every day can be deep and witty. I’m composing tomorrow’s post as an explanation of why I won’t have an amazing post that day. I have to work on my Star Wars Thursday and a comics review post that I’ve promised to complete.

I should figure out how many words I’ve created (just in posts – not counting all these comments and such) over the past week. AND I’ve exercised. Yeah, I rock. 🙂

Even the simplest of thoughts, when well written, can be entertaining. Isn’t that one of the attractions to Facebook statuses? I can’t wait to hear about the trip!

How did the field trip go? The power of writing with the SOLSC is that you just practice writing, all kinds. I often find I end up making lists and then finally, an idea will spark. My friend kidded me about carrying around a notebook all the time, but I find an idea can form at any time. Anyway, I’m so glad you are practicing your writing daily.
